Surface architecture in modern vehicles has changed fundamentally. The failure modes introduced by generic care products are specific, documentable, and entirely preventable. Understanding them changes every product decision.
These occur with standard products, under standard use, on surfaces now standard across every production vehicle price point.
Failure Mode 01
Most OEM ceramic clearcoats carry an active SiO2 layer as the topmost protection barrier. High-pH cleaners degrade this barrier progressively. The paint looks clean. The protection quietly disappears.

IPA concentrations above 15% cause soft-touch polymer surfaces to compress irreversibly. The texture flattens. It cannot be restored. Most commercial interior cleaners contain 30 to 70% IPA.

High-sling silicone compounds migrate to brake rotors under normal operating conditions. On modern vehicles with caliper-forward geometries this significantly degrades brake performance. A safety failure inside a cosmetic routine.
Failure Mode 04
Piano black scratches at hardness comparable to coated glass. Standard 300–400 GSM microfibre causes permanent damage on every pass. Sub-200 GSM is the minimum. Every standard cloth in the Indian market exceeds the damage threshold.
CG Interior Detailer · piano black safeThe Indian automotive owner of 2026 is more informed, more material-aware, and more emotionally connected to their vehicle than any generation before. They research paint correction before buying a car. They read spec sheets.
The care products available to them have not kept pace. Carve Garage is built for the owner who already knows that care matters, and who deserves a brand that knows it too.
The vehicles changed. The materials, the surface engineering, the trim technologies, the interior architecture. All of it moved forward by a generation. The care products at every retailer had not.
Carve Garage is that care system. Built in India, for owners more informed, more material-aware, and more emotionally connected to their machines than any generation before.
