Electric vehicles change the care equation. Large touchscreens, ADAS sensors, flush door handles, and aero-optimised panels all demand specific handling. Generic products and high-pressure washing do real damage to an EV.
EVs concentrate sensitive electronics across the exterior and a large glass cockpit inside. High-pressure water near flush handles, charging ports, and sensor housings is risky. Interior screens need IPA-free cleaning to protect oleophobic coatings. And because range is sensitive to drag, a clean, contamination-free surface has a small but real aerodynamic benefit.
Use a pH-neutral shampoo. Most regular shampoos are high-alkaline and degrade the ceramic clearcoat on modern EVs.
Avoid high pressure at flush door handles, charging port surrounds, and ADAS sensor housings. Use low pressure or a foam cannon.
Two products in the routine cover everything an EV's exterior and cabin need, without the risk generic products carry.
